Espen wouldn't come before 42 weeks! Pushing the limits, and the Birth Center was right there along with us, riding the wave. When our labor finally came it was strong and steady. We were at complete peace with our surroundings. The miracle of a birth allowed to be experienced to the fullest and in the most intimate of settings.
We had only the slightest of inklings as to how our birth would unfold and we had the most wonderful experience we could imagine. From the first night we stepped foot in the Birth Center, for our classes, we felt a sense of family and inclusion. We continue to share an ever evolving relationship with Aszani, Mary and other staff members. Thank goodness for the Madison Birth Center!
