Sibling Class
A recommended class for Madison Birth Center clients, this class is also appropriate for families planning a hospital birth. Classes describe birth from a child’s perspective, suggest strategies for avoiding boredom and burn-out while awaiting the birth, and offer age-appropriate ideas for welcoming a new sibling. An age-appropriate video is shown at the children’s class. If interested, please call the birth center for more information.
Middle and high school-aged siblings are encouraged to attend prenatal visits and some childbirth classes with their parents in lieu of sibling classes.
When: Scheduled as needed on Saturday mornings.
